A post over at www.ghosttowns.com, tells the story of the Tonto National Forest at it again, tearing down old mine cabins, plugging tunnels etc.

Howdy! Yeah, it gets frustrating. We go around and try to cleanup/restore some of these neat old places, and then the GOV decides to tear them down. I wonder what the Greenies think of all this. I love finding/exploring, getting pix of places like this. Usually, the BLM is worse than FS about destroying the good stuff.

I'm looking for info on mines and ghost towns in the Bradshaws. I have a couple of books, but they don't really go into much other than location and what's left of them. Maybe I should hook up with the Ghosttowns.com site. John
