Finally a day off to do something with my long neglected Cruiser...

Now to do the wiring...

They went on with self tappin screws like a breeze...

and the roads out here will tell me if they will last...

Trade me for some some elk!

The passenger side vibrates a bit...just back from a test ride...

need heavier screws!

don't we all...

Nice...your going to love the additional illumination :D

I scored the same light-brackets from a fellow cruiser-head here on MUD, only I mounted mine a bit higher.

Nice color on that Cruiser...

Hmmm, guess I am not that creative...I just mounted em like the ones on Cool Cruiser...the higher the light the better the illumination...

Now I can not wait for oh dark thirty...

Thanks Jeff

Strolling into a campsite late at night...having those floodlights up high really brighten up the darkness. :D

The other nice thing about there loc., is it tends to reduce any glare off the hood.

Current Setup (everything is on relays):
Main lamps - w/80-140 watt H4 bulbs
Bumper - clear driving lamps w/yellow 75watt H3 bulbs
Window frame - flood lamps w/100 watt H3 bulbs

Thanks Jeff

Caution this is a thread hijack what size and type of tire do you have.

THanks

33x10.5R15 BFG MTs on fj40 disc-brake rims (non-rivet).

no issues what so ever...

White hoods and windshield mounted lights don't mix...just an fyi. The reflection off the hood pretty much cancels out any extra help they give ya.

Tankota,
You do bring up a good point.
Glare was not an issue before, I'll have to test again...

Eddy,
Yea, 35s are too big :(
Maybe when these are bald, I'll upgrade to 285/75R16 :D

The white hood/glare issue was really apparent when I rode in a friends rig last year at the dunes. I don't think the darker colors will have a problem. That's a nice lookin cruiser.;)

Freightdog. Did you used to go by MD11freightdog?
