I think this will be the least interesting thread on mud but, I am wondering if any of you have pictures of the original front bench seat mounts that are on the floor.

I need to make some since I removed my tank. I am on the hunt for a bench seat set now and am having a hard time finding anyone with the set that I can buy that is complete.

the mounts are just captive nuts except for the right hand, next to the trans tunnel, where it's a small raised squarish section with a captive nut.

Here is a pic of the one nuclearlemon is referring to...

if you stay OEM, I have a lap belt available to go with them

Gasp.....someone else wants bench seats. Man, I love mine.
Sure you slide around and there is no real side support but
bolt on a 4 point harness, cinch the belts down and you'll stay put
even on rough trails.
Kudos for for going old school!

I prefer the bench seats too. And I have a 4-point in the driver's position. Need to install another for the passenger.

It blows Jeep owners away when you take six kids to the movies - two up front on the bench and two on each bench in the rear. It starts to dawn on them that the FJ40 is larger than their Jeep. I've had the double take from Jeepers more than once.
