Hey guys,
Thought In should say hi, I have been reading for a few months to research my latest purchase. I wanted to say thanks for all the information in your posts.
So I've had a 1977 FJ40 for a few years thats been my project vehicle that I love working on, it's got the 4.2 gas engine, Weber card, headers, delco electronic ignition, OME 2.5" lift, 33" tires, first gen checker plate tub. If your in the Okanagan, you can recognize my 40 from the checker plate back and bright orange front.
My new pride is a 1996 FZJ 80, charcoal grey, gas engine, pretty stock that I bought with an ARB winch bumper already on it. I love the truck, and it ran like a 'top' for the 2100 km trip home from Winnipeg. Now I am on the 'mud looking for clues to the 'non top' like way it is running now.
Anyway, thanks for the helpful posts, this is a great resource.
