So I landed on the sliders pretty hard wheeling in Durango, Mexico. My 80 is a 94 with 160k--well taken care of. Anyhow we were in the middle of no-where. Luckily I ordered a spare hose from Dan a while back and cut it to fit. Added a little under a liter of ATF---turned the wheel back and forth 10x+ to bleed matters-- my steering is much better now. Anyhow I would recomend carrying some spare hose/atf--also some really long needle nose pliers for the hose clamp.

So,

That 44412-28160 came in handy then.....:)

Split right about the 90 degree bend I would guess.....

Dan,

Ended up using it for a different hose than intended--this particular hose blew on the outside of a 45 degree bend. The old hose was held on by a hose clamp so I should be fine. Going to have to use all the hose I got from you and replace the radiator hose, heater hose, etc. .;)
