I had to tow LP Blue out to work on the SWB so I took the opportunity to grab a family photo

Just mind boggling these two LPBs are on the same property still.

"picking a highlight from such an embarrassment of riches is hard"

Got a late start today.

This turned out great. I’ll gladly add a clean motor to this hole now

😂😂
I do whatever Red says. I’m not dumb.

The first thing to get bolted back on is the Aisin clutch master

Did thebold clutch master still work. I rebuild it just wonder if it held up

Im not sure what worked and what didn’t after it sat up for 4+ years. The project is pretty huge as it is and I did not want to spend any time (labor $$) getting the old stuff working just to yank it out.

It did have fluid in it. Brake master did not.

Have you given the Kenda Klever 33x9.5x15 a try? And if you have, how do you like them compared to BFG or Yokohama tires, and do you think it’s worth getting a wider tire but a better brand, since BFG or Yokohama don’t offer a similar size?

Yes, I’ve done 3 builds with that tire. All the owners love them.

If I had disc brake Steelies on this truck I may have considered them but we had to buy wheels.

With current price of Toyota Steelies plus $100 each to powdercoat them the City Racer wheels are not a really big splurge.

Here is a couple of the ones with the Kenda. Perfect choice for OEM chrome and 40 hubcap wheels.

They are just a hair shorter than the Yoko 255/85-16

A mega hoarder allowed us to dip into his stash of LPB tail lights for this project.

Not only was that a huge win but the fact that the PO actually only butchered the lower portion of the valence to install the little round light and welded on guards.

I was able to massage the metal back enough to get the lights in place.

These were the two toned yellow/red version but @cruiseroutfit supplies the proper red/red lenses.

Once we get the @OPMACHINE bumper in place these jewels will be forever protected
