The old 91 ran like a champ to Vancouver Island, Squamish, Whistler and back.
Only issue was a blown fan belt at Tofino, but she never stopped. Stopped in Edmonton on the way home at Four Wheel Auto and gave her three hours of attention.

You just have to go in person!
Lots of folks stop by on their way to the Yukon and/or Alaska

What a amazing adventure vehicle. Wanting to do something like that with my 60.

Yee-fùckin-hah!!

Is that you? You're nuts!

30 years ago, I would have done that in a heartbeat given the chance. It'd be a hell no now.

As an adult, I realised some of the white water kayaking I did as a teen was done with groups of people utterly unwitting, and unprepared to deal with the power of white water, and the consequences of a mis-step.
With hindsight, it's scary how close to disaster some situations were, and how lucky it is no-one in those groups died.

PS, 12,000km? Did you take the scenic route?

The whole drive is senic!
Started off as work up at Musselwhite Mine, then Evolution Gold in Red Lake, my son is living in Whistler hence my decision to continue west.
The kayak is my son, I also ran the drop. Being 63 you'd think I would have the sense to basket weave.
