I was thinking of trying to 3d print the switch. I have dome light with the same issue.

I'm no whiz at anything.. but looking at mine I was thinking I could drill out the metal pin/rivet holding the plastic switch in place, and replace w some other 'switch' and reattach w another 'rivet' .. a 3D version may be best choice.. I don't have my broken piece that fell off, only the piece that is still attached..??

IIRC I got some NOS ones out of Yemen for $145 each. Just not sure if I have an extra one or not. Lots of boxes of parts to go through that were in my recent household shipment from Saudi Arabia. I'm sure he still has some left but shipping would probably be $50+.
