Hi,
My 2000 landcruiser has sat for a couple months. Just went to start it and it barely turned over before started clicking. So I put the battery charger (see pic) on it for a few minutes then tried the Engine Start setting on the battery charger for added assistance. It started turning over but not enough to start.
I tried turning the key one more time to start, but found NO resistance to the key upon fully turning it to start AND when turning the key to off, the electrical (including all dash lights) stays on. Quickly got out and could hear buzzing from the engine. Disconnected the negative to cut power. There is now no resistance or stops when turning the key from LOCK to ACC to ON to START.
How bad is this!? Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ted
