I took photos laying down with my phone. I was actually surprised how little to no rust on this 2000 LC. I’m no mechanic and this isn’t something I do a lot. So I wanted to hear from y’all. How’s this rate or look?

This was a parts truck I bought a couple of years ago! 2002 LX, a WI one owner truck it's entire life!

Mine is as bad if not worse and she is still as trusty as she is crusty.
Nothing big, but you all helped me figure out how to remove the rear wiper arm that got bent in a carwash. I put the new one on pretty easy and didn’t even need to buy the tool.

Man... Most epic battle with every crevasse of dat @$$ in my 06'. Michigan Ride that was spotless before she met me 5yrs ago. Im basically buying every seal/nut/bolt/race etc. As i go. Pictured is all needed for rear stabilizer bar refresh(*ahc version) wire wheeled the ahc rear bar n painted.. Broken 1 bolt inside of bracket ;/ had to cut old gear as well.. Never Quit!

Full brake fluid flush, new rear calipers and ss brake lines. Freedom Off-road UCA’s, some rust touch up next.
How was the flush? Need to do mine this summer, probably overthinking it but seems more challenging than others I’ve done.
Finally picked up and installed sliders on the grocery getter.
I have a "98 and it was straight forward. 20 or so pumps at each caliper twice, started at the rear and moved to the front. Went through two big bottles of dot 3 brake fluid. Best advice I can give is wrap your brake master cylinder in rags around the side, and be very careful when refilling reservoir between bleeds/pumps. Very bad juju to let the brake fluid overflow or spill down the side of this type of master cylinder.
Note to self: consider a removable rear panel on the next drawer box.

Replaced my battery and the passenger side turn signal that someone broke and drove away. It wasn’t enough damage to justify an insurance claim so I didn’t even bother with a police report. The battery was supposed to be an Optima yellow to, but they’re on backorder with every battery dealer within an hour of where a I live. I settled for the red top, so I still have great vibration resistance with the AGM, and good CCA starting.
Just found out my hood struts are failing, so I’ll have to replace those, but my hiking stick odds working in the meanwhile.
