Hi all, on my 1976 fj45 Aussie spec one of the rear top shock studs is nearly worn out. What have other people done to fix this as it looks like it is welded to the crossmember. Was thinking of building up the hole with weld to try and make it circular again or to just cut off the old studs and put a new bolt straight through the tube 10mm across. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

One of mine sheared off at the threads when I tried to remove the nut.
