This old 40th arrived from Florida yesterday.
It’s life as an 80-series had come to an end. The chassis is a donor for a full on custom build.

Yeah..... It's tough but this 80 series thing right we love what we love......
I'm in the middle of a full 1fz refresh after a head gasket issue, rebuilt/re-geared all my axles last year right before the Rubicon trip, ARB lockers 4:88 gears. It's always something, but hey it's fun right.
I'm closing in on matching what I paid for mine in repairs and mods and I've only had it 6 months. I totally get it

Picked up the 80 from the paint shop (Premier AutoSports - Richardson, TX). All new rubber, seals, paint, wheels reconditioned, etc…looks like new again! Wasn’t cheap, but this one is a keeper anyways so I didn‘t mind spending the coin. Threw an ARB bumper on with plans for the winch and lights upcoming (and then a rack).
Hopefully the last piece arrives tomorrow but full exhaust from the second cat back along w/ all the brackets/bolts/etc that the muffler shop cut off and removed when I had it replaced several years back.

I got a new valve cover and wire covers from Partsouq and sent them to him.

Replaced HVAC bulbs, rear defrost switch bulbs and antenna switch bulbs. Had a couple of helpers. Their momma is out of town a few days so they keep me close.

Do you happen to have the part number for the bulbs? or a link? My dash is apart and just remembered I can barely see what setting it's unless its a moonless night.
