This 1963 land cruiser fj45 truck is extremely rare, with the split rear window and tool box under driver's seat. Comes with stock running gear, original seats, windshield wiper motors, and original fj45 doors with bug catcher vent windows. The cab is in surprisingly great shape with solid floorboards and uncut dash. I removed the glove box lid to lubricate arms so it will open properly. Hood is bent but fj40 hood can replace. The bed is rusty but rear lenses are intact. Super rare. Hillbillies installed a spring over suspension, easily reversed. Perfect restoration truck for the collector of rare Toyota vehicles or investment seekers. This truck will only go up in value. Clean title. $15,000. Call Andy for more info or pics. I do not text.

Aside from the rust in the bed and rear sil it appears to be in decent shape. It looks to have most of the hard to find parts (defrost deflectors, defrost vents, TNK wiper motors, sliding rear windows). Tailgate chains appear to have been swapped out. However it gets blurry when I zoom in so hard to tell. Rear tail lights seem wrong but maybe it’s a later model year production? I thought the SWB FHT trucks had the tail lights mounted on the bumper and the SWB RHT trucks had them in them in the bed? But I might be wrong? Maybe one of the experts can chime in? @whitey45 @65swb45

I thought of you when Andy called me about it a few days ago. He didn’t have a price for it yet.

It looks like it should have the taillights that protrude from the bed.

I owned this truck 17 years ago, it is exactly how I sold it, only difference is I sold it fir $3500!!!’
@whitey45 Was it running when you sold it? Did you sell it to this owner? Are the rear lights correct? I thought RHT had the spare tire under the bed with the protruding rear tail lights? Did it have a silver gauge cluster?

I hope so, in case I want to sell mine 😂.

Late ‘63, aligns more with the ‘64s. Lots there, later motor. VIN?

It was a running and driving truck. I am the hillbillie! as I had the axles from another rig with good brakes, so I threw them in. It had the under bed spare. Those are not oem taillights, but are in the correct location. I dont recall if it had a silver faced speedo? It was along time ago! This was from norcal, pretty sure its a California rig from new. I was at a car show with my 45 and a guy came up to me and said he had a landcruiser pickup! Would I like to buy it!! I said, of course I will buy it!! Those were the good old days, had to part with $1200!!!

I saw the engine also, maybe a F145?
