My LX570 got a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T in 285-70-17 standard load index 116T (NOT an LT tire). I have tried to do the math on the spreadsheet Gaijin has posted many times but I am getting confused on the conversion from P metric to Standard load where P metric is reduced by 10% on these trucks (2104 adjusted load). I am assuming Standard load range tires are not reduced by the 10% factor. I am coming up with a cold psi of 27psi (2178 non-adjusted load) on the new tires which seems really low so I am nervous that I did my math wrong. I have them inflated to 35psi now but maybe I need to reduce to 30 psi. Any advice? also, Icon Vector 5s.

The RCTIP for those Standard Load ISO-Metric 285/70R17 116T tires on your LX570 is 30psi F/R.

HTH

Edit to add:

Stock Load Limit for the OEM P285/50R20 tires @33psi is 2315 lbs.

You need to find the Standard Load ISO-Metric table for 285/70R17 116T. Follow the 116 Load Index row over until you find a Load Limit >2315 and you will find your RCTIP of 30psi.

Thanks, That is the answer I was looking for. I am still confused by the "divide by 1.1" thing for the P metric loads. I came up with the same 2315 load for the factory P285/50R20 tires but then I divided that by 1.1 and came up with 2104 load. This was my mistake.

Side note. Whats your first impressions of these tires? They are on the top of my list of 35s

You only need to use the ratio if you are changing tire types, since the OEM spec was in PMetric/ISO and your new tires are the same, no ratio needed.

First impressions are good. They are smooth and relatively quiet. I would say they are quiet for as aggressive as they are. Slightly louder than KO2's I put on my 100 series. Nothing like the Patagonia MTs I had on my last truck - much quieter and smoother than those. Ride is good, can't comment on traction yet because I have only driven in town. I just adjusted them to the proper PSI last night so I will give an update, but the ride is smooth. More pics for your viewing pleasure.

Those look great. I might just go ahead and back order a set

Anyone have a photo of their LC200 with 9.5” wide wheels?
Please let me know the tire size also.

Got some 9.5”s. On 0 offset. Wanting to mount 295/70/18. Wondering what the sidewall bulge will look like.
Thanks.

Wondering whether you will have any fenders left after you finish cutting them to make that combination fit... 🤔

Anyone running Method 701 in 18 x 9 with 25 offset? Looking at running this wheel with 285/65/18 KO2's and wondering if I'd have any fitment issues. I would like to avoid cutting or modifying anything to the liners beyond removing mudflaps if needed.

Very easy fit

Should be an easy fit. I have these wheels on my LC with lt275/70r18. Having the Dissent front bunper i am not sure how much trimming would be needed of the liner. To clear the mud flaps i had to aggressively trim them to eliminate any rubbing while turning.

1st time LC owner and just picked this up about 2 weeks ago. 2017 Metallic grey with terra interior. Got the tires mounted today, just waiting on some free time to install a lift on it. Got the Stealth Custom Series Ray 10's in Matte Dark Bronze, 18x9 +25mm, wrapped in 305/65/18 Toyo Open Country A/T III's.

~1” per side from stock is pretty typical…..?
Pretty sure he’s making a joke about how the tires are rolled up in front of the wheel wells.. looks like he has 8” spacers..

Hey guys, fitting another set of wheels and tires today and was looking for some inflation guidance.

I am going to be running a BFG KO2 in LT285/55R20 117/114T, Load Range: D. I will be mounting those on a 20x9.5 wheel.
