Just watched Homeward Bound with my 5 year old yesterday... Highly recommend watching that classic if you haven't seen it in a while.
Man how time flies…. I remember your post when you brought your new baby home in the 80 .

Heres an older picture of bear eating from a soda lid on a long road trip..

My Cookie, storing up energy ready for the off road adventure, she loves chasing whatever creatures she can when in the middle of nowhere.

And of course AFTER the chase.

She goes everywhere with me and has done since she left her mother, well almost everywhere, could not get her into the hospital as she never had her Covid vaccine certifcate.

She looks like a good old girl.
She is absolutely a joy, everyone can’t believe we have a dog she is that quiet. You can leave the room for 5 minutes and when u come back she is like “you’ve been gone forever, I love you”😂

Today was a hard day. Had to put down my golden...

He sure was an awesome and happy dog and I will never forget all the good adventures we had.

RIP, you will be missed Charlie.

They become family and it hurts like hell to let them go.

I still miss my Lucky and we put him down almost a year ago. I look in the side mirror and his face lapping up the wind is missing from the image :frown:

Sorry for your loss. Charlie looks like an old soul.

RIP, you will be missed Charlie.

Two years ago Boxer our passed away in my arms due to a seziure.

Last year we had to put our s***zu/Maltese down. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, one morning I was awoken by his coughing. He couldn't get comfortable and I knew it was time. Hanna (Boxer) and Dietz (s***zu/Maltese) are in a better place now.

Rufus in his element.

Here’s to chasing deer in your sleep Charlie.
