Anyone have a referral to someone that can do some electrical work for my 96. I'm looking for someone to wire the OEM seat heater switches to my aftermarket seat heaters and wire my Harrop rear e-lockers to an OEM locker dial switch. I have all the necessary components to do this job, just not the knowledge.

Here’s the Colorado mechanic notes I have. The link might have more.

Review: Merl is a great guy who will work on you with anything you are having trouble with. He also has acres of junked cruisers so he has all the little parts you need.

CTS or Slee maybe. Everyone is pretty backed up right now though afaik. You could also try 3r racing. They aren't a cruiser shop but they might do it. Also high country 4x4 might do it.

You could try Matt at Boulder Vehicle Outfitters aka off-grid engineering although they seem pretty swamped with camper installs and RAM builds. He did my dual battery on both of my 100 series a few years ago. You basically have to be sleeping with someone at any shop to get work done these days so good luck.

Duncan in Gunnison closed years ago, was my brother in law that worked there with his dad.

Robbie is moving not in Boulder anymore, going to AZ

Proffitts is back open.

Merl in salida sold classic cruisers years ago, new owners moved it to poncha springs down the road.

I’ll be doing this soon with the install of my new seats. Didn’t know there was a factory switch! Where do they mount and can you buy them still?
This along with a ton of other wiring and rewiring on my 80 and my truck are on the list for this winter things to do and learn.
