Hello
I am looking for some help identifying wiring for this 86120-90A11 Radio. The PO of my FJ60 cut most of the wiring in the dash so I am trying to match it with the wiring harness attached to the radio. Part of my problem is I have only been able to find a brown, grey, red, light green and blue wire under the dash and the colors are different on the harness and the radio. So I am unsure what is what.

Check my signature...should still have a working link to the FSM there and with that you can check the wiring diagram and colors

i thought a 86120-90a09 and it buddy 86120-90a11 were both 24v VOLTS ?

yes or no ?

Joining in on the stereo wiring fun... with a completely different reason for wanting to understand things! I bought the 86120-90A09 model myself. The sticker does say 12V (4OHM, 3A). The connector coming out of the stereo on mine does NOT have the yellow wire shown in the pic from @jobispo though. Based on the quoted image from @4Cruisers, I get a wiring diagram that has a POWER ANTENNA 1, +12V IGNITION, LEFT FRONT SPEAKER, and GROUND.

My aspirations don't lie in getting it functional in my truck, but instead, to use it to operate a Garage stereo system. I'm going to use an old CPU power supply, an old amp, and some old speakers in order to have music playing while tinkering around. My ultimate goal is really just to utilize this old stereo as a glorified on/off switch, but it would really be rad if the tape deck actually works!

That being said, would the consensus be that RED is "power", BLUE is "remote", BLACK is "ground"? Then what would GREEN be?
