Hey All

Ok I seem to have struck gold, not in a good way. Had a knocking sound 2500 rpm and above. We put a oil pressure gauge on the engine and it's about 1/2 of where the FSM states we should be.
Drained the oil and looks like a ton of fine metallic inside.
Is this a sign this 1fz has had it? Put some clean oil in to circulate the old crap out and drain g that now. Was going to put some Rotella 15/40 with a Lucas additive, but really thinking this is just wishful thinking anything good will become of this.
What cod the mettalic be from?

The pic of the finger was the swipe I pulled from under the oil filler cap on valve cover.

Any thoughts here would be appreciated..

Uh... yeah I'd start by not running it anymore. It needs to come a part if you want any chance of salvaging it.
Yep I definitely know it's being parked for time being. Any idea what may be the culprit with the gold rush ?
