I searched high and low for pictures of Titanium FJs with a bronze wheels and didn't come across many at all. I LOVE the look honestly. Better than Titanium with black wheels IMO.

Rock Trix RT110 (17 x 9 -12mm) in bronze with 295/70/17 Yokohama Geolander MTs.

Anything bigger than 295/70/17 and I think I would be in trouble when articulating offroad even though I have a 3" lift AND an aggressive body mount chop.

I got 35's, ran Rubicon last year and this year's Rubithon. Aside from rub no trouble at all. Of course got BMC & 2.5 lift. You've got a nice FJ.

You have to have done several brake jobs? I missed my chance to get powder coated red calipers at my most recent service yesterday. My friend Nestor has those and boy do they look good thru his non- TRD wheels. I would add that the calipers are harder to see thru my 16 inch TRD wheels, but just thinking for next time. Also I have 40k miles on my KM-2's . Anyone recommend KM-3's? or should I stick with what I have liked? I have done the BMC so I can go up at least one inch in diameter. Thanks guys. Currently on a set of KM-2's 285/75R16. BMC is not limitation, driving into my garage is; I have the garage door set to pull back as far as it can and so , as high as it can go and I have 1 1/2 inches clearance left. Currently my metric tires measure 31 inch od at 50psi.

Well, just finished a 2,811 mile trip in the TTUE. Performed fantastically. Did 20.96 MPG, which is a consistent 4 MPG better than my Red TT. Had a great time with 4 people in all their gear. This TTUE has slept in a climate control garage first 5 years of its life. Now it had almost 4500 miles in 2.5 months!!

2007 150K miles

Purchased September 8th 2021. Immediately threw on some Bilstein 5100 w/3" OME lift. Paired with SPC UCA's. Purchased the TRD Pro wheels, wrapped in 285/75/17. Thinking about having the OEM wheels widened at the barrel shop to 17x9 with a little more offset so that I can run a 305/70/17, and have a little bit more tire poke from the wheel wells.

Of course had to find a rig to match my 1978 FJ40!
