Hey all. I figured this may be worth a shot here. I have a really nicely built 98 LC I'd trade for same condition (no rust well-maintained) stock or slight mods 100 or possibly gx plus cash. Having trouble uploading pics etc but I have it listed on ebay if you search 1998 LC in Long Island it's gold, lifted, slee mods all over itself, winch, awning, and best of all; engine install by Toyota dealer so it has about 40k ish miles on it. I'd rather trade for a clean mostly stock than sell and search forever again. It's a great truck drives like new. I dunno if forum rules allow me to post link to ebay ad. Truck n long Island.

I attached the 5 it allowed me to but you get the idea. It's very clean for east coast truck. I hate rust. I can do walk a walkaround vid or facetime and there are a bunch of pics on ebay ad.

Bump. Some updated info/pics in cl ad now for sale as well as trade. 100 in my avatar. Mileage currently at 48k on new engine (I have paperwork for install and all slee mods installed by slee). I've put less than 8k miles on it last 2 years. Some small wear and tear items. Driver's seat leather needs replace. I got quote of 350 but the place is far from here so just put seatcover. Antennae goes up only half way. CB antennae wire got clipped by lower tailgate so needs new wire to be functional. Recently did heater t's baselined fluids. (If the frame appears rusty in photos, it is not. That is the dust stuck to it from fluid film. The shower system needs a new heat exchanger; I don't use it so haven't changed it out but still have all parts for it to be functional. It was a west coast truck most of its life. any minor rust is just surface) One original speaker is hit or miss. rear diff lock. sunroof works doesn't leak. No rear seats. Really would prefer trade for stock-ish, no-rust 100, 200, maybe GX plus/minus cash if needed, rather than sell and search for another year for a good one. Message me if you have any questions.

Yes, I believe that is what it is remanufactured unit with everything done timing belt etc, by jarco 3 year 36 mile warranty . I can email you a photo of paperwork or engine, total bill for install came to 8241 and change and slee mods installed and servicing by slee about 5500. It runs like a new truck.

Just in case anyone asks it looks like you’re running a custom BIOR (Bump it Offroad) rear bumper. It’s a great bumper (just not a Slee).

GLWS Wish I wasn’t sooo deep into my build - I’d love to have this classic color.

Thanks for the post and clarification. It is one solid bumper and previous owner had it re-powder-coated as he was fastidious about corrosion. Now have someone interested in buying at asking price (the first person to actually see it). I was hoping for a trade for another LC in great condition as I don't want to search again for what seemed like forever, so haven't really pushed hard to sell. The color is great, not initially what I had wanted (white) but it grew on me and I love it now. The previous owner also had it repainted (same color) as the west coast sun had baked the clearcoat, and like the rest of the work he did on this, it was not a cheapo job. I've had a couple trade inquiries but still looking. I know if this truck does go, it will be missed. Maybe there's worse things than having a great rig you use that has mods you don't use.

Update. NOT SOLD. Available. Took deposit but buyer bought another one last minute and I didn't know how to change "sold" status so took off market and just daily drove it. Putting it back on market. Up for a trade for stock-ish no rust 100, Gx-470, or maybe rx-350 plus cash either way or straight out sell for 21k. Updates; new radiator, new tires, and small ding in top rear tailgate from me backing into parked car at 7 miles an hour which will come up on carfax as accident. Frame was coated with woolwax over winter as well. Great rig.
