Hello, I have several drive train items up for sale. I have no history knowledge other than what's stated. All came with a solid bodied disassembled FJ40.
1972 F engine longblock- needs to be rebuilt. didn't run per previous owner. I have no idea of it condition. In storage for 5 years. $100
1976 2F engine longblock- This was a classiccruisers running pullout. Said to be "low mileage" from previous owner. $500
1972 3 speed trans- said to shift fine by previous owner. $100
4 speed trans- A classiccruisers working pullout. Previous owner purchased for a swap, has all the swap items still on pallet. $500

Let me know what you need. I'll get some pics up shortly.

Hello, could you possibly find the date code on the 4 speed? Thanks.

It has the 16 spline output so a '74-80 H42. Can you tell me where the date code/vin is stamped on these?
Thanks!
More precisely, with the side cover, it would be 74-76. GLWS.

I can’t remember right off. Seems like it is a two digit code with one letter and one number stamped into the case. I’ll dig around and see what I can find.

Do you have a 4-speed bellhousing?

Based on the serial number on the 2F and the dented side cover, I think it points to an 1986 2F from a FJ60.

Also has the AC compressor mount on the left hand side motor mount bracket

The threaded oil galley plug was a dead giveaway.😉
