I agree on the ozone machine. Couldn't find one in the time I had to do the project. Will try to locate one to finalize the job. Thanks for the post.

It took several treatments (and physical cleanings and scrubbings) to rid my 100 of 250k miles and 17 years of the previous owners smoking habit to fade away. Still, 5 years later, I can smell a slight cigarette odor coming from the dash pad when it sits in direct sun at 100 degrees.
As a bonus, the ozone machine has been used around the house for pet odor and burned popped corn...
My daughter is Chinese heritage, and has a wry sense of humor.

Flex sealed CV boot wasn’t holding up so replaced axle, lower ball joint, and greased bearings. Bearings looked pretty good for unknown service interval, lots of “shade tree mechanic” work done though. No hub flange gasket, no lock washers, chisel marks on 54mm nuts, etc etc.
installed Ronin Metal ditch light brackets to replace my DIY $7 ones. Much cleaner looking.
Also fabbed up a water port mount for the hitch, the one it came with hung too low

Technically was some weeks back, BUT, restored my parents' '00 LX470 from the brink of being abandoned again. Fixed the AHC Suspension (wasn't showing any signs of life because the AHC-IG fuse had been pulled) making for a MUCH smoother ride. Fixed the A/C blower (had some debris inside that caused unsavory sounds when A/C was set to highest fan speed). Identified a leaky PS line, gonna fix that soon. Also, the console screen is all crusty-looking and barely legible, I figured it's the polarization film that's crusting off due to Nigerian heat and humidity so gonna also fix that soon. Gave the car a nice thorough wash and vacuuming. Looking to replace the driver side CV axle and hub flange because their splines are nice and worn, resulting in the car only being able to be driven with CDL enabled. The car has started squeaking when revved or driving at high RPMs (4500+) but it's barely audible. Will look at the fan (turpentine) belt later. I know I have a lot of will-look-at-them-laters but hey college applications is coming 'round the corner so ye.

Not as bad condition as I expected, but I continue to pick items off of my LX470 list- Replacement swaybar links, extended 2" to account for my Ironman lift.

Added DT headers and exhaust, and new sway bar end links F&R. More details in my build thread. Truck sounds beastly now and has a noticeable power bump.
New heavy springs from 0ME to replace the medium duty ones after the new rear Dobinson‘s bumper with dual swing outs. Previous owner had the B spring on the driver side and the A spring on the passenger side. Got back about 2 inches in the rear and the rake looks much better. Definitely need some new bushings in the rear.
When you absolutely, positively need to get that lower shock mount off. It was a little crusty.
