Add Stellar Built in Sacramento, CA to that list. Works on all modern Toyota 4x4's and even a few not-so-Toyotas. But started out and specializes in beefing up and increasing offroad capabilities of cruisers. Overland builds AND rock crawlers.

No need to put LandCruiser Heaven on this list. Terrible customer service across the board. Based on how long it took to get just a set of seat covers, how hard it was to get any communication from them, I wouldn't want them anywhere near my truck. Plus I like my money to be spent in this country, not a restoration shop in Colombia. It's an accountability issue.

Thanks for the tip! Oddly enough, I can't tell from their website...

Brief description there of some of our services. Like other shops, instagram is the most updated and current or right here on mud.

A sample of the projects we have going right now.

Is Robbie @powderpig still in the business of engine rebuilds? Not sure what other work he does as far as restoration work goes but he has been highly recommended in the engine rebuild department for a long time.
I reached out to him via DM here on Mud and via txt message earlier this year asking if he still worked on Cruisers and didn’t get a reply. It’s a pity if he no longer works on Cruisers. His work was very highly regarded on here….

Robbie is finishing up projects in Colorado and then moving to AZ.

My understanding is he is done taking any projects until after he moves to AZ and has his shop set up there.

Happy to list him here with that proviso, if he likes.

These two may not directly apply to the 80 series right now, but if I had the scratch for a high end restomod of my FJ40, I would definitely be thinking of electric conversion. Like it or not, the world is changing. New gas engines are going away faster than we expect.

@ElectricGT is here on the forum.

Zero Labs are currently set up to convert smog-exempt early Broncos and Land Rovers, but have Land Cruisers in their sights as well.

Georg at Valley Hybrids in Stockton, CA comes highly recommended by Onur. I've spoken with Georg a couple of times on phone. Sounds like a great guy. I'd take my truck to him or powderpig for a full engine + while you're in there rebuild.

You can fit the entirety of the Australian economy into Los Angeles, yet it's light on Land Cruiser shops based on my search (good ones).

I've had good luck thus far a bit further South of me in Orange County - at Cruiser Tech. Proprietor, Cesar, seems like a nice guy and is originally from Venezuela. He himself is an 80 owner.

No website as yet.

Is there a Valley Hybrids shop? Is this Cruiser Bros?

Confirmed, I'm stopping by today to hopefully pick something up but unfortunately it sounds like he is moving on. Too bad as he is right down the road. People have to consider his plate is always full and he is a one man show. He just told me he is stopping new work and finishing a EROD swap and likely packing up and moving out. My guess is if your not a local number he wont take your call right now.

We've swapped an 80 or two. We also make a habit of putting 60 bodies on 80 chassis with LS3 and 6.0 liter power
