I took this 1982 FJ45 on trades towards a built Lx470 I had. They are both wagons, but light years apart.

picked up a carb rebuild kit and hope to clean out the tank, pickup, and carb tomorrow. It will run, but poorly, feels like it starving for fuel.

Pretty good body I’d say
10 year old OME lift
working 8274
Came with extra rear fenders and a $0.20 coin too!

It’s compliments my 55 that has a 4.7l, 5 speed manual, and sits on a FJ80 chassis. Ready to get the top off and cruise around

???

I’m getting it insured through Grundys for a declared/agreed value.

-what’s does the 45 section think a good declared value is?
-and what’s a fair market price? It’s not listed but people are already asking about purchasing it. I have been accused of being a horse trader like my ole granddaddy :)

???

Thanks!

Gorgeous! Love a good troopy.

Carbed cleaned and reinstalled. Runs way way way way better.

drove it 100 yards and died. The filter clogged and was empty again. Ran a line to a fuel can with a new filter and drove home. Seems like it’s the tank/fuel and not the pump.

Chunks of crap and brown gas drained out of tank x2. it will be cleaned throughly for sure, probably dropped and boiled.

im out of town all week again booooo

hope she’s on the road soon. Drove really well the 300 yards I driven it!
