Just picked up the bae from Firestone this afternoon. Got an alignment done, and came back with these results...
Mechanic wrote:
"Front caster was not adjustable"
"Steering column or box has play"

Anyone know if they make a fj40 specific camber kit? or know how to adjust the caster and camber??
Also, I don't think the mechanic knew that "old vehicles" usually have some play in the steering wheel. LOL

Just make sure you get steel shims. Positive caster will help the vehicle track properly down the road. My guess right now its a little sketchy and sort of white knuckle driving.

however you're not going to find them in that fine of adjustment...they usually start at 2*s and go from there in 2* increments....I.E 2, 4, 6 degrees.
Right, but it won’t hurt to add more than oem specs says.
