I’ll be rocking the wife’s Accord, but I’m going to try and be there.

Sounds like you need a backup Cruiser... or other Toyota 4x4... ;)

You really can't have to many Land Cruisers.
This is called N+1 I believe... kind of like mtn bikes... its called a stable for a reason, gotta have the right tool for the trails!

There is also a point of diminishing return. At some point you wind up spending more time on vehicle maintenance than actually enjoying the rigs.

The wife did say that it would be cool to have his & hers, but she doesn’t drive off-road. It would be a pavement princess. I wouldn’t mind a twin locked 4th gen 4Runner though. For her of course.

I resemble this entire statement... I do believe I spend entirely more time fixing them than ever driving them, but it's better for me than going to the gentlemen's club or the bar... even if it's not any cheaper..

For a lot of people the wrenching is more fun than the driving.

Having wrenched for 23 years, I would like to be driving now. Hopefully I can have my cruiser up and running by the May meeting. Most of my axle/diff/brake parts are here. Who knows though.

Getting my second Covid shot at 7:15 out at Tahoe/Reno Industrial center.

Didn’t get off work till 7 last night. Hopefully I can make next meeting. I’m basically the only show in town for mobile semi alignments, so....
