Planning to do Mojave Road next week and I've got two questions for those who have done the trail -
* Gas mileage - What mileage did you average? Were you able to complete the trail on one tank?
* Tire pressure - What did you air down to?

I have a stock '03 with 33" Falken WildPeaks.

I usually estimate 10mpg on trails running 33" tires. Ive done Mojave Road from the 95 freeway and out Afton Canyon to Daggett on a full tank of gas comfortably. That was with doing almost no side trips though. It would probably be safest to carry one jerry can.

Oh yeah and i run 18-20psi on the trail. Toyo RT 33"

X2, you can certainly do the entire road on one tank with some side trips. Most of the trail done in High range. Extra 5 gallon for reassurance. Fuel near Afton Canyon is a bit pricey.

Air down to about half of normal tire pressure.
