I dont even want to know how you found that. hahaha Darn good stuff right there.

I know a guy. ;)

I recall the swing tags on my daughter's Beanie Babies. Collectors wouldn't remove them. We thought they might contribute to her education, nope.
I'm torn between installing this or keeping it in an airtight case.

Hi Keith!!!!

It's hard to find good red seatbelts. Have an OK set with poor webbing.

Found a vibrant red set, with rusty hardware. :(

Enter these pups, NOS 1967 Corona, it's the exact same female part of the buckle: Thanks for the find @ToyotaMatt :

You can see where I'm going with this...

I do need to figuire out how to slide the left cover off in order to thread the red webbing on the female side. Anybody know?
Wanted to say that the lever action of these new belts is really smooth. I wouldn't of ever known that without the side by side comparison.

Miss Kitty is going topless, seasonally.

She is a hardtop and has hard doors, so the Real Steel door bows needed modifying to mimic her stock door bows. This involved removing the beveled trim that hits the hard doors. It's only tack welded in six spots or so. A strip of metal also needed to come off the remaining bow piece.
After modification:

These early straight doors now fit perfectly. They pre-date the inward door lean that came with later, corner windowed tops.

The doors also fit the Real Steel B pillar perfectly without modification.

Only missing one door handle and one plexiglass window [edit, and the window channel] Mirrors will change.

I think this truck is the same year and sport the same look as _this_ famous truck, from a book I really like.

I need to replace Miss Kitty's hinges, until then, here are the red soft doors on No Name.

They are missing a few bits, but I'm happy with them. Anyone have a spare plexiglass holding channel, or that rare clip that holds the window in position? Or a lead on a good fabricator?

I’m pretty much completely ignorant of the early soft top doors, but it looks like the top door weatherstripping is attached to the soft top doors, but is attached to the top‘s cross member for hard top doors? If so, then does that mean the top’s cross member is different for soft top vs. hard top? Maybe that’s obvious, but not to me.

For the earlier doors (before the door bow became two piece), the weatherstripping does vary. I don't know what followed, but I know the early soft and hard door types are interchangable. I put soft doors on this '68 hard top with no problem (after modifying the body side of the hinges).

Sorry you can't see all of the door. ;)

there's folks who have reproduced both. i have two sets of repro plexi channels that i got for annie and tucson (then realized i had ordered junkyard ones from specter and had them stashed already). and years ago, i got a pair of the window lift pieces. need to find who made them, cause now i need two more.

If I do nothing else this week, I will have at least dressed up Miss Kitty with a stainless steel bar for her generator.

I learned that the key to buckle disassembly is removing the webbing, and that takes undoing the stop sewn in the female side.
20210513_202321.jpg

With that out of the way, you get to this. I had to remove the inside tabs (circled) to get the 'new' webbing back in:
20210513_215543.jpg

It was a tight fit. Until new stops are sewn back, I melted the ends.

I naively bought a mirror that came missing the outer trim ring. Still I was glad to have it.

Enter this mirror (period incorrect for No Name):
20210513_090820.jpg

@oregon fj told me how to get it apart, focusing on just one end. When loose, slide it off the direction of the untouched end

And done!
