Looks great. Did you do the motor rebuild yourself or farm it out...if sent out, who did it?

Nice looking truck and upgrade list.

The engine rebuild looks good. Can you give some details on what you did to the motor? Did you balance and blue print? Over-sized pistons? Port and polish? Thx

Which smittybilt winch did you install? X20 or xrc? Also did you need any spacers or brackets to install on the ARB?

It significantly reduced outside noise and also keeps the center console from getting as hot.
Looks good. Good motivation to do this project. Read an old thread yesterday about heat becoming an issue on long trips. Their answer was to problem was to,

“Order heat insulation to cover the transmission tunnel to hold the temps down.”

“Put some adhesive heat shielding on the oem heat shields above the downpipe, and both cats. I also put some in the passenger side footwell & transmission tunnel. works very well...much more comfortable”

They also mentioned that sound deadening along did help their heat soaking through into the cabin much. The heat shielding was a big improvement.

Might be overkill, but I am thinking of adding heat insulation to the sound deadening.

Yes so I used Noico 80mil, the transmission tunnel I went with 3 layers overlapping and driver/ passenger floorboards 2 layers overlapping.

Inside doors, rear floorboard, quarter panels and inside the tailgate 1 layer.

It really helped with temps and of course noise. there's a "thud" when the doors close now...

Hey there. Noticing the ARB bull bar turn signals have been replaced with aux lighting? Or did that come as an option w your ARB? I need more light in the dark AZ desert night but really want to keep mine looking as clean/stock as I can. Thanks or any info you got! Charlie
Those lights are (2) baja designs "S2" lights. With the flush mount bezel, total of (4) I did, 1 set clear and 1 set amber, depending on conditions I use the different colors.

The incorporated ARB light, turn signal, whatever it's supposed to be, I didn't like it. Had to notch the slot to make it a little wider to fit both of those.. if you just put (1) light then there would be gaps on the side..
