I would love to meet the so called design engineer who designed the placement and fitment of this third brake light, I notice the 100 was the only series fitted with this absurd fitment, it wasn't caried on to the 200 series, I wonder why!Awesome post and great pics to illustrate! Can we all agree this third brake light design is sh***y? Any reason it couldn't have gone on the inside of the window like other manufacturers, and if it had to be this way, a FOAM gasket? Really?

Foam gasket, why?
Or 'Harakiri'Well, there’s the “3rd brake light guy”, the “2UZ-FE starter guy”, the “plastic heater ‘T’ guy” and the “windshield rivet guy”...
All deserve a swift kick to the privates.
Maybe the “integrated navigation system guy” and the “torsion bar guy” too...
Can someone help me with how to get the top trim of the top tail gate (the inverted U part). I can't seem to get it pop free and can already see some plastic pieces stretching dangerously far....I took the bottom piece of where the handle is, but couldn't quite figure out the top part.
