This was so close to being PERFECT. Still someone might want it, but look at the duct tape in the rear

$18500
---------------------

This is a nice driving and running FJ40. The body has some rust issues, the floors are solid. The frame has surface rust, but it is solid. In the last 1000 miles the starter has been replaced, the carb has been rebuilt, the clutch slave cylinder has been replaced, and the belts have been replaced. The a/c has been retro fitted and charged. A full tune up was also done. The Interstate battery is 3 years old. It has the original 6 cylinder engine and a manual transmission. It has manual steering and manual front disc brakes. The four wheel drive works. Nice FJ40, just needs some love.

They're REALLY ambitious with this one. Should be well under 10k with that rust situation. This truck clearly sat for awhile, I'll bet near the seashore.

RJ - i agree I see a lot of rust but do you really think it’s that bad? (Under $10k) Looks like he is on LI so lots of salt air. Maybe I’m just getting used to seeing rusty trucks up here in the NE. :meh:

IMO If the repairs can be done without removing the body, then it's worth it .. they'd probably go lower on price too.
