Camped out in Gunnison Natl Forest and Telluride. All good trails were closed seasonally but found a little gem of a cell tower mountain.

Just saw these for sale at Walmart...they have the element for my Sienna, too. Also, compared it to a “premium“ Fram. I’m 105 miles from the nearest Toyota dealer...so this seems like a win.

My first proper off-roading in my 2001 LX470. This was 12/3 in Anza Borrego, CA. The only thing I've done to the truck is put on a pair of 285/75r16 Yokohama Geolandar G003 tires on the stock wheels. The AHC works fine, so I'm rocking that until I decide which way to go with aftermarket suspension bits. Made some new friends down there. They are all rocking 3rd Gen 4Runners. (I gotta admit; I'm very envious about the 3rd Gen front suspension... coil-overs offer so many more options!) I can't wait to go back. This 100 very capable!

Do you recall which traik/wash this was - looking to get back out there over the holidays and looking for some new canyons.

Christmas Eve in Acadia NP. Watching the surf roll in is always good for a mental disconnect. Merry Christmas everyone. And happy holidays to all those who celebrate something different. May we all have a wonderful new year.

Merry Xmas Bois.

While everyone is having a white Christmas. It's 76f degrees here in Southern California. Literally wearing a tank top and short when I was trimming my rear bumper.

Trim just enough so it'll stop dragging on the rocks.

The Fram Ultra line that @UTadventures posted are suppose to be really good filters. Now their lowest tier filter like in the video you posted is probably similar in quality filter that you would get at a cheap/quick/convenient oil change place.
I don’t know why one would use any other filter than the Toyota one. I think I pay $5 at the dealer.
