I replaced the drivers side footwell floor and body mount earlier but the rattling on the passenger side has been making me nuts.

I peeled back the layers and found the bolt was just floating there in the air lol

Time to break out the Wuhon plasma again

oh, I think I got the same cutter.

I used the 4Runner body mounts. Amazingly the rest of the mounts look good. I’m not going to kick that hornets nest.

I replaced the floor pan section with 1/8” plate

I can’t wait to drive this thing without metal on metal under both floor pans.

Got a solid smush on the suspension and it all checks out.

Its about as rattle free as a Pig can be at the moment. Wow. What a big difference that made!

I like those bump stops. I need something about an inch taller for mine. I haven't stuffed yet with a tire but at the moment the high steer will hit the frame before the stop. It leads me to believe I never got there with the leafs. Pretty sure the tire will eat my fender before that too.

I have been thinking about getting one. Silly question, but can you bleed ABS systems with them? I am ass-uming you need some way to trigger the ABS pump to clean the fluid out of there...

No idea

The ABS is independent of using the Motive bleeder. As you say, it comes down to triggering the pump to cycle things and bleed out the internal reservoirs in the ABS unit. However, you can bleed the rest of the system with the Motive bleeder and then all is left is those internal reservoirs.

Typically, for the internal reservoirs, you bleed the whole system as you would any other brake system. Then you plug in the service tool (or scan tool having the capability) and cycle the ABS. Then you bleed the whole system again.

My "hil-William" (tip o' the hat to the previous mention of that) approach is to bleed the whole system. Then I take the truck out for a drive, find a gravel or dirt road, and lock up the brakes... This cycles the ABS. Then I go back and bleed the whole system again.

Seems to work for me...

I'll add that what you're trying to do is remove any air or dirty fluid from the ABS reservoirs. Bleeding everything else out makes sure that there is no air or dirty fluid elsewhere in the system, so only clean fluid with no bubbles gets taken into the ABS unit when it is activated. Then, you bleed the second time to flush out that dirty fluid and/or air that was released from the ABS unit.

Don't think I caught is in here, but Erin says her pig gets buckets, so I was curious how you mounted yours. Couple pieces of angle bolted to OE stands and then seats mounted to that? Seems pretty simple, but just making sure that's the way to go about it.

I had considered starting a Go Fund Me so that you could replace your racing seats with something like the Lake City Limo’s...glad to hear you are leaning that way.

Corbeau sells a bracket
Well I'll be d@mned. I hadn't even looked because that seemed like a most unlikely item to find.

It’s on the list

Since I did the Mosley motor swap I’ve been running a mini truck power steering setup that Shaw Fab made for me.

This setup has effortlessly steered my pig but I have a couple issues. One....the rebuilt mini truck box has a seeping leak. It’s the only leak on the truck and it pisses me off.

Also my tires hit the drag link rod end and that’s a bummer. Not a killer just a bummer.

So, I’ve collected parts to do a 60 box swap. Sent one to Redhead and had it built. Also since we go with bolt type upper shock mounts with the Ford shock towers we then go to new shocks as well.

I’ve been very very happy with the Iron Man Foam Cell pro but the Dobinsons IMS got my attention big time when I put them on my 80 so I grabbed 4.

Rear install went well. At they are about 1” longer than the FCP I removed at 24” eye to eye fully extended
