Disk Brakes and Flip Kit
I’m not sure when I did it but the overload springs were already back in my packs. I’m still missing the 3rd one from the top in both packs but the low side had all the other lower leafs and the high side had it missing.

Bottom line, I left it as is. It’s fine.

But while I was back there I got some upgrades installed.

All the rear brake stuff looked great (since I replaced it with new stuff at some point)

I saved myself a huge headache of dealing with a C clip in an ARB by cutting the backing plates off with my Wuhon plasma.

4Plus flips for the win. Such pretty items. Cleans it up so nicely

I’ve been curious about these wuhon plasma cutters. I remember there being some talk of a couple peeps getting them. are people still happy with them?

Im loving the 4Plus flip on the back of my 40- need to justify some for the front.

My Amazon plasma cutter is nice. I haven't used a real brand so I don't have a frame of reference. It cuts fast and has saved time and cutting wheels.

This plasma is awesome. Cheap. Efficient. As good as it’s operator.

Exhaust.....my shop here is terrible. That’s about what they would do. I just need to get one of those summit kits and fix it one day.

Stainless lines run and the frame has been given a fresh coat of fluid film.

Added a fresh coat of paint to the sliders

Little stuff. About to move to the front. These are a little more difficult because the traditional Pig specific bumpstop humps on the top of the housing have to be removed

The food thing is that the drivers side “55 axle hump” is the only one that has to come off but it has to come all the way off since the 4Plus top plate is such a perfect fit. Then you have to trim the Ubolts. They are all the same size all around

Passenger side went on quick and easy. I don’t bother trimming that side. I’ll go flex it out and make sure my boob bumps Land on the pad correctly

All clean.

Next up is 60 series power steering but I’m still trying to wrap my brain around all that.

I got lazy and decided to test the brakes without a proportion valve. Mainly because I’m running a disc/disc master and it’s so ass heavy.

Happy I did. It stops great. It won’t lock up on dry asphalt but it stops straight and sure. Way better.

I burned them in good with some high speed front and low speed reverse stops.

Also flexed it up and the Timpkin is on the money

The motive bleeder is so nice......
