A friend of mine in college in 1994 had that exact TLC. Good double dating memories there. And I think we got 12 people in it once.

Driving a brand new TLC in college? Can't imagine his truck was the only thing he had going for him at the time. :D

Yeah, his parents did commercial real estate. Didn’t spoil him too bad, just the truck and tuition. Still had to buy his own beer.

2007 Ford Focus
2014 Subaru Legacy (wife)
2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk (traded the Focus)
2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (wife - traded for the Trailhawk; I started driving the Subaru)
2020 BMW x7 (wife)
2020 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition (traded the Grand Cherokee)

I'm driving the Subaru to work, because the LC200 is too tall for my employer's parking garage...

Traded the wife's Subaru for the 200... for some reason she thinks the 200 is hers and I have to keep driving the 340k mile 100

Since I am 31 and tend to buy cars that don’t break down.

1993 Acura Legend in High School (gone but not forgotten)
2007 4Runner V8 (still have)
2014 LX 570 (wife)
2020 Land Cruiser (garage queen)

2014 Mercedes Benz E350 4MATIC
2016 Chevy Suburban LTZ 4x4
2017 Toyota Land Cruiser
2004 Lexus LX470 (bought for daughter)

Worst car was the Suburban. I traded in 07 LC for new Suburban thinking more room is great and liked a lot of the features it had. Had Suburban for 3 months and was in shop for 2 of them. Had lawsuit against GM. What a piece of garbage. Went back to LC.

I bought a 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro and switched out the wheels / tires and added a bed cover with remote tailgate lock. It was going to be my forever truck but after 6 months of driving it I couldn't stand the over sensitive brakes, powerless seat and lack of torque from that new 3.5l V6. Not enough comfort and bells and whistles for the $47,500 I had into it. It was paid for when I got rid of it so it still stings a bit!

‘72 Buick Skylark (old V8 gas guzzler)>’85 Chevy Corvette (cool very high tech digital dash but the car was a plastic piece of crap)> ’90 Ford Mustang (nice car but transmission acted like it was made with play-doh)>’99 Jeep Grand Cherokee (a truly beautiful SUV for its day, but had problem with dash lights going off while driving at night ugh)>’02 Honda CRV>’06 Honda CRV>’16 Honda Pilot (current car and it was a nice ride but I want something more rugged)>Awaiting ‘21 Toyota LC!!

Ignoring all my "sports" cars - tons of Integra Type R's, M3's, NSX and now a GT3. The Tacoma was my first foray into useful vehicles.

2018 TRD Pro - Auto trans, total trash. Tolerated it for nearly two years and had to dump it.
2020 TRD Sport - Manual. Loved it, great little truck. With a manual, cloth seats and carplay it felt like a vehicle that would stand the test of time.

Unfortunately, the wife can't drive a manual and the cabin was really too small to really enjoy trips with. So the LC was the only logical replacement.

The A750F in the Tacoma was actually quite good. It was the pathetic V6 that powered it was the problem.
