The number I found on my block doesn't match the format that I saw for date codes on my engine. am I just reading it wrong?

it does seem to line up, I guess that makes it pretty certain that this is the original engine. Frame numbers match the body too.That means it was manufactured late 5/69. Late April 69 engine could have it ways in to a late May 69 made cruiser.
