I have been overseas for 7 plus years (was only suppose to be 3) and my 85 FJ60 has been sitting the whole time. I am ready to get her back up and working order now before coming back.

Mechanical fixes:
2f complete rebuild - Has the original engine and the front and rear main seals are/were leaking.
A/C retrofitted and fixed
Axles repacked
Rear axle checked - had a small bearing leak
Has a weber conversion for carb and will need a rebuild

Body:
Dent repair and repaint
Replace mirrors (one was stolen last year )

Right now my concern is getting the mechanics fixed. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic? I don't need it tomorrow but just done over the next 6 months. Tried contacting LC specialist but looks like he is no longer in business.

Her last trip 2013 before leaving:

Irwin moved his shop north to 183. Some will jump in with details in the AM

If you haven’t ordered the Aussie mirrors yet, you’re welcome to come check out mine in person. While I think they look the absolute best of any 60 series mirror, I have found that I don’t really enjoy driving with them. For the money, I think the factory manual-adjust FJ62 mirrors are the best for visibility, and they don’t shake loose while driving. I’ve had a couple of sets of aftermarket 62 series mirrors, and they have all sucked- they wiggle and continually require readjusting. I highly recommend going OEM which ever way you go.
