Looks great! Question, did you mask off the exhaust holes? I stuffed mine with paper towels but didn’t mask them off. Will we have any concern about the exhaust manifold sealing on the painted area of the engine?
i didn't. i do plan to remove the paint prior to mounting the manifold.....hopefully next week!
 
worked on labeling the wiring harness. used https://forum.ih8mud.com/media/1976-harness.51836/full?d=1487176685 from a '76 as a reference. hopefully they're fairly close.

quite some time has elapsed since my last post. i have made a ton of progress and am nearing completion. attached is a photo as of yesterday. i haven't had the time to post photos from the restoration process along the way; however, i have documented the entire process and plan to post over the next month or so. thanks for all the help along the way.

These brake line photos were from a few months back. Brakes are now functioning. I had to purchase a new brake proportioning valve from CityRacerLLC, which by the way, provides excellent service
