I put 2016 18" landcruiser wheels on my 2010 Lx570. I can't get the sensors (tire sensors) to read in my truck. The sensors are also from the 2016. My original sensors worked fine. I am being told the 2016 and newer sensors aren't compatible with the 2010 truck. Anyone else come across this?

Yeeah the part numbers are different and they aren’t compatible.
You’ll need to get new tire sensors or exchange from your other wheel set.

Ok thanks. New sensors it is

Yes, I gave my Dad my OEM wheels and tires off my 2018 for his 2014, ran into the same issue.
I have the tools to read and link into the obd2 port to change sensor codes. However if they are not compatible there is really nothing that can be done other then put in the correct sensors for the year of your vehicle.

If put into my scan tool it was a 2018, I could read the sensors, but could not upload into the 2014 LC, I could tell my scan tool it was a 2014 which I could then get into the vehicle computer, but could not read the 2018 sensors. There are without any doubt , different sensors for different model years of 200s.
