Was really hoping I didn’t have to do this. Due to COVID and expenses that are popping up this year, we can no longer keep Lee Majors. 2020 is the absolute worst.
1976 FJ40
-full family cage tied to the frame
-metal tech front bumper/stinger
-warn 8274 with new cable
-LED headlights and forward light bar
-strong running fj60 2f. Does 70mph on highway
-AFI fuel injection
-front and rear disc brake conversion
-hydro assist with crossover steering
-front axle is cut and turned
-OG longfield axles 4.88 gears
-new ARB locker in front with new compressor
- front end stretched 6 inches with fj60 rear springs
-Orion 4:1 transfer case H42 4 speed trans
-belly skid plate
-sliders welded to frame
-TJ rear bench seat
-rear converted to tailgate and hatch
-hardtop/doors included
-rear axle geared to 4.88, Detroit locker rear stretched 6 inches
-37 inch Firestone MT2s
-4plus dual swing out bumper with matching spare and cooler carrier
-all lights, blinkers, hazards, wipers, etc work properly
The bad: has trail damage in the tub and upper corner of windshield frame. The doors and top are in great shape. Rear main seal could be replaced but doesn’t leak too bad.
I drive this thing 20 miles to work multiple times a week. It spends a lot of time driving on pavement and on the trails. I’ve not met anything this 40 couldn’t get through. The main thing stopping it has been the nerves of the driver. This is the perfect wheeler. It seriously pains me to have to put it up for sale.
Looking for $18,000
