Not quite, actually quite far off base. Dish soap is not optimal. Clay, IPA (automotive alcohol) wipe down, buffing (at least one step), IPA again and then coat. Also, ceramic/graphene/metal oxide and off-roading do not mix. If you leave the payment, sealant and wax are the only way to go.dishsoap wash the truck, get rid of the old wax

Wash first, then wax.
It is rather deep. My LX is black and gloss depth is admirable when I apply it. OGs apply Collinite and leave it overnight to cure then wipe off.Autogeek.net have fun
