In my quest for wheel and tire data, I've come to discover a need for an LX 570/ AHC specific database. Sorting through the 200 wheel/ tire thread to pick out AHC specific info in cumbersum and searching is difficult. We all know fitment is very different for AHC vehicles compared to non AHC/ KDSS equiped Land Cruisers.

Here's the format I propose:

2014 570 with stock wheels and tires. AHC in H. No mods. Ride quality is as designed.

The differences are no KDSS so more room to car center, and an ahc 'lift' by using height offset utility in techstream or moving the sensor arms (or both), which helps clearance vertically in L and N for daily but doesn't change the absolute stroke in H.

Usually a lifted tlc will have uca aftermarket and can adjust the wheel in a limited way within the wheel well. Only a very few lx570 have aftermarket uca and ahc.

General offset guidance to minimize scrub radius
+60mm stock
+50mm 33" or so, Rock warrior offset
+45mm 34" or so
+40 mm Evo corse
+35 mm 35" or so
+25mm Icon, Method etc, this is where Tundra wheels begin to be available . . .

*Edit - minor adjustments to the table - it's meant to be the general range. Many have run different sizes in different offsets . . . 35s will fit in the +40 to +25 range, it's just if you want to clearance your fender or worry about the BMC

Tire / wheel size calculator which includes scrub radius:

yep thanks for the data. Aware of the differences which is why the LX needs its own database.

Well this didn’t go anywhere...

I’ve ordered KO2’s in 275/60/20 so I’ll follow up here once installed. Seriously considered 285/60/20 but couldn’t find enough info.

Update: these tires are popular. Can’t find em in 275/60/20 so looking at 285/60/20 even though they are $400 a pop...

Can anyone comment on fitment?

Do you love your 20" rims?
At $400/tire, it might be cheaper (or break even) to buy new rims and 17 or 18" tires

285/60r20 IMO is the better size anyways. Slightly more height, and more width for safer braking and handling. There's newer tire designs out there that may be better overall, including price.

Checkout the just released Toyo OC AT3s

Oh yea sticking with stock wheels. 570 is the daily. Built 80 and 100 in the driveway.

Sure. Here’s 275/80r18. It’s a 35x11. Measure just under 35“ inflated To 36 psi and mounted on rig. Running Tundra 18s with 1” spacer, 35mm effective offset. Trim level 3. 30 min each side. pushed front liner forward, had to remove the support for the front of stock steps, which I’d already removed long ago, and heat gun rear front fender by the body mount. Lifted about 0.5” with AHC To clear front Full lock in L.

Our 2011 LX that i just picked up has 275/60/20s which are ~33 (2 bald road tires and 2 cheap ATs).. and I'm slotted to get 275/65/20 which are ~34...AT2s on Monday... we'll see how that goes...

You'll be fine! You'll need to move your front fender liners forward and maybe heat up a little area next to your running boards.

Just make sure they don't hit your UCA or else you'll need some spacers.

2009, AHC sensor lift, 1" Bora spacers, 305/55s. Moved front fender liners forward, removed small front "mud flaps"? if you call them that.

I'm partial to the 305/55r20 size as well. The LX wears big meats well. Bulge helps protect the wheels and makes for better lines in ruts and tracks.
