Confirm 90A alternator P/N (1 Viewer)

Searched a bunch; all threads talk about early 3FE 80s fitting problems.

My alternator is not performing as it should and needs to be replaced. Diodes in the rectifier are going south: alt needle moves with turn signals.

Can anyone please confirm that the 90 amp alternator with p/n 27060-61100-84 will fit a 1997 80.
And for everyone else's benefit that confirm that it will fit all other years of 1FZ-FE.

27060-66070-84 is the remanufactured OEM Denso alternator for the 1FZ-FE. All years FZJ-80/LX450.
The Denso part number is 210-0181.

27060-61100-84 is for a late 92 3FE engine and requires a later style bracket to fit a 91.

Your OEM alternator is rebuildable with OEM parts. An OEM brush kit is available.
Also, Mosley Motors rebuilds Denso alternators across all years and has access to Denso OEM parts.

Brushes are simple; the rectifier cost more than a good reman.

Actually I want the extra 10 amps if it fits:

The part number in the first post, 27060-61100-84, puts out 90A over the 80A 1FZ-FE stock unit.

I still want to know if the 90A fits into a late-model 80.

It doesn't. The bracketry is completely different between the 3F-E and the 1FZ alternators. And completely different adjustment set-ups as well.

I saw this too, and I think there is an error somewhere in someone's parts database.
The original Denso alternator for the 3F-E was an 80 amp unit.
This changed in the second half of 1992 to a 90 amp unit.
The 1FZ-FE got a 90 amp unit. Yes, I know that all the documentation says 80 amp, but I do believe that to be a mistake.

At this point I defer to @Onur for the correct information.

In either case, I think that the 3FE version will not fit on a 1FZ-FE engine.

1FZ-FE has never received anything but an 80A alternator for the US market. 27060-66070-84 is the current part number.

The part being discussed here is for a 3F-E and will absolutely not mount to a 1FZ.

Non-US 1FZ engines also received 50/55A alternators with carby's.

Japan 1FZ engines also received a 100A alternator. It's discontinued from Toyota but available in aftermarket form: 27060-66040
