I am just purchasing the last few items for my Gear/Axle set up on my Locked 96' 80 Series.

I want to make sure I have not missed anything. So far I have purchased-
Front and rear 300M axles from RCV.
4.88 Nitro Gears with installation kit.
New OEM front and rear locker actuator.
Rear Rebuild parts form this list - Rear Axle Rebuild Part #'s
Front rebuild parts from this list "A" - Front axle rebuild - OEM P/Ns here

I also purchased OEM pinion seals, wheel studs, and diff gaskets.

Is there any thing else I should be adding?

I am looking at getting the RCV 4340 Drive Flange set. Looks like a lot of guys run this with ARP front and rear axle studs.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for the help!

I would not run the ARP studs.

If you want more strength there, drill and upgrade the studs to a larger diameter.

I would just rock the stock setup. Only thing I have ever busted in a Cruiser was a stock birfield.

Cheers

I just installed RCV 300M axles went with the RCV drive flanges front and rear.

Did you include a knuckle rebuild kit?

^^^this^^^ suggest getting the RCV drive flanges with 6 pre-drilled dowel pins

Are you doing the gear installs yourself? If so, I think nitro carries solid pinion spacers instead of the crush sleeves. These take shims to set up, but allows you into replace the pinion seal without further crushing of the crush sleeve.

To install them, you'll have to test the pattern and add spacers to get the right gear pattern.

Here’s everything I ordered to install a RCV 4340 axle in the front, RCV drive flanges, re-gear to 4.88’s and rebuild the knuckles.

One item I didn’t think of...Cruiser Outfitters said I needed is a 29 spline diff flange flange kit, which includes a flange, seal, slinger and nut.

I would also get a tube of red fipg, if you tear a paper gasket you can wipe a little of the fipg over where the gasket is torn and youll be good to go no need to wait for another. and red fipg is prefered as it is designed to work with trans fluid and gear oil

No Sir, I'm going to leave the install up to the pro's.
