Does Ben include that with the kit?

Shoot. Beyond my fab ulos skills. Pretty piece though.

lift wings into place:

1) use double oversized washers on all 5/16" bolts. Hand tighten

2) use 4 aluminum washers with captive nuts:

@1world1love, I've reworded this request more times than I care to admit:
Can I get some up angles of your rear wings (driver side)?

I'm mainly looking to see if I got the washer sizes/little spacers in the right spot. As usual, no rush!

(Don't worry about this one if you have mud flaps installed)

yes!! Thank you.
I'm glad I asked because I see a lot of double washers!

If there's torque specs, I use them:
1) torque AHC bracket 12mm bolts to frame
2) torque 3 10mm nuts holding the AHC pump (or stop when the rubber geometric starts to move)
3) on the Passenger side, attach the wing stiffener prior to installing the wing. Insert 2 bolts in the wheel side of the wing:

4) wings and center piece should be hand tight in preparation for alignment.

Finalize swing arms:
1) pack yo bearings!
2) grease your shafts
3) install bearing, seal (with rubber hammer), and spacer on each arm (2 per arm)
4) assemble with bolt, 2 washers on top, and bolt ( no washers on bottom)
5) tighten until you feel pre-load on bearings

Curious if you’re going to finish off the exhaust with some sort of a tip?

Haven't looked at all the options yet, but planning to cut the tip off the resonator and see how it looks clamped on to the current cut.

Tapping 2 holes in "high tensile" steel was more work than swapping out that AHC bracket!

1) drill out the 2 holes on each side of the hitch with a 23/64" bit.
2) tap that hole up!

Tap is size 7/16 - 14.
3) these little spacers go up against the frame.
4) loosely insert all hardware in the wings/center.
5) final alignment: (add measure points here)

We are heading out to the mountains of the Eastern Sierra to play for a week and I fully expect to see a finished product when I get back on Tuesday. Preferably some field testing pics. I'm especially interested to see how your ladder project goes.

Anyone know if these bumpers can be put on a 16'LX?

Also, if you need any pics, let me know today.

you are the man! I just walked around and tried to think of anything I need, and this is the last one:
I'm making the final cuts on the rear bumper, and I'm curious how the Dissent crew finished the area around the tailgate:

Unless anyone has any grand ideas, the reverse lights gotta go.

You're set on not shortening the support wires? That's what I did when I put my bumper in. Shim it with a quarter on each side and see what the tail gate angle is, then you can decide.

To pull the rear hatch trim you start with firm jerk up at the top, then the sides, then the bottom. All clips no screws. Fancy plastic pry tools make the whole thing a bit easier. You have to pull it off anyway to reroute the rear camera . . . The hatch close strut will suspend the passenger side. Should be pretty easy to get to the lights with the trim out off.

If you do the rear camera (4 conductor) I suggest running 7 conductor thru that grommet. It's a PITA, so you might as well have spares in case you ever want to do anything ever again in the hatch. I found that some lube was the trick to get thru.

Yea, but I have a feeling it's going to be quite a bit of an angle. I'll tackle that soon.

I was hoping the camera would land between my ladder rungs and not have to relocate, but alas, it's directly behind a riser....
