What did you do with your 60 this weekend? (9 Viewers)

Been wanting to add a subwoofer to the back of the 60 for a while but was not wanting a huge box so I repackaged a cheap comb set up into a 1950 Nesco water can. Lined the inside with 1" foam and painted with Penatrol to preserve patina. Well worth the effort.

I installed 70 series side mirrors, omg what a huge difference from the tiny stock 60 mirrors. Wish I would have done this years ago.

Bare metal on top while keeping original door trim.... added a 6x9 coaxial speaker and ventilation window to the front door... waiting on inner window felt..
door pocket came off, but might slap it back a lil higher... it was full of cattle dog hair, and dust..... yeah maybe not....

Vent window all blacked out and kept the original outdoor metal trim with new outer window felts

Rearview mirror will relocate a couple inches back for proper function

Where does someone find these? hmmmm

@Idaho Savage

Went from a clapped out OME SUA to a 80 axle conversion with coils on all four corners. New 4L65E, rebuilt the transfer case with sumo gears kit, Cooper ST Maxx and TRD wheels. Fully adjustable suspension, shocks and arms.

A few more goodies still to come.

@TRAIL TAILOR so how is it to drive? Is it comparable to an 80 on road?

IMO its better than an 80. My wife has a bone stock 97 3X and she wanted to know why if these conversions have the same suspension as her 80................. why hers doesn't ride as nice...

COG, stance, WB, top weight.... all adds up for a win for the conversion.

Man, @TRAIL TAILOR those 62’s sit sooo nice and level.
Roughly, how much higher is the end results, compared to Old Man Emu leafs?

These are a 1:1 front ratio and a 1:1.25 rear ratio. This is a 3" Tough Dog lift and it came out at 3.38" up front and 3.75" in the rear. coils will settle approx .25-.38" during break in. This one has a little rear height adjustment as the customer will keep approx. 500# in the rear so we "preloaded" the rear suspension with a stronger spring rate coil to handle the constant weight and give it a proper stance when loaded, but still look good unloaded. So the rear is slightly higher in this pic than it normally would be. This will not have a stinkbug stance when finished per the intended design.

The 2" TD coils yield a 2.5" front and 2.8" rear on initial measures on the previous front and rear coil conversion.
