70/80/100 REAR DISC BRAKE E-BRAKE SYSTEM PARTS BREAKDOWN.
All parts and pieces for rebuilding your rear e-brake system are readily available from Toyota as well.... It's confusing... But I've laid it out here for folks to refer to....

Onur is absolutely correct; I just finished up yesterday doing a rear brake refresh and rebuilding the parking brake system, which has never worked since I purchased my Cruiser almost 5 years ago, and all parts are avail and reasonably inexpensive. I cleaned up some parts but others were just too rusty/corroded so I opted for new.

Hint: if you do this, take a ton of pictures as you disassemble. You always think you will remember but I was so fortunate I took pics each step of the way !!

You removed the axle and hub!? That's cheating! :flipoff2:

Yeah, I decided to check the axle oil seal and bearings, while I was in there, and I’m glad I did. The seal had failed and pretty much washed the bearings clean of grease so a repack was in order.

Feels good that it’s now sorted for a good long while......

I am looking for the backs unfortunately. I have the bottoms already
Ahh. Still applies, just find a similar back. You can also buy high resiliency (HR) foam slabs from a domestic polyurethane producer and shape as needed. 3M spray adhesive is commonly used for gluing foam into various furniture shapes. Or just get sheet foam and graph in a repair to the existing.

By disco parts, do you mean parts like these that are discontinued but there still might be a couple on the shelves somewhere?

Yes, also commonly referred to as NOS or New-Old-Stock.

After manufacture is discontinued these items become worth what someone is willing to pay for them.

Long time gone AFAIK

Is the FZ oil pump still available? Im having a tough time finding that
This isn’t the place to ask about whether parts are available or for sale. Contact your Toyota parts professional or post in the classifieds section.

This is a thread to post factual information about what is available or what has been discontinued.

looks like it is still available. 15102-66020

Are the Jdm all red hazard switches from japan NLA?

thanks!

Edit: I found P/N, looks NLA. Wounder if there is another P/N for the same switch.

LH side (Driver) are also discontinued. But there are currently 12 available in the US for purchase, so if you want a new OEM sun visor, now would be the time to get it... or they might mysteriously vanish. Like ... possibly... today.
