One more small task crossed off the list today. To compensate for the thickness of the fishplates in the rear, I wanted to offset the tub mounts that had to be removed. Not sure if 3/16” would have caused much of a misalignment issue, but now it should be a non-issue.

Pressure washed. Black - like Mamba. Golden - like shower.

Contemplating the flexible, bendable, wiring holds. Kinda like cause it’s easy to get stuff loose, yet they’re hokey compared to a P-clamp and a bolt. Deciding if I want to cut them off (throughout the rig entirely) and go the Empire/Cat way, or....?

As stated...a work of art

Four day weekend. Git er fudkin’ duuun!

Went back to measuring out the hanger placements on the front. Things still just weren’t jiving out, so decided to go a different route this time. I found the absolute centers of the frame rails (90-7/8” - someone with a bare frame try it out and see what you come up with). Measured that out against my marks for the rear hangers and everything added up. Started in on the front, and found my passenger side marks were off. Moved the shackle hanger forward 1/8” and the front hanger a total of 3/16”. Cut the tacks off of the front passenger hanger to move it, twice, for a 1/16”.
Mounted the old front springs to measure the center bolts against the frame center reference (piece of channel), as well as center to center of the springs to see if I achieved the goal of matching the FJ60 perch centers.
Everything is perfect!!💥💥🎉🎉💥💥

What's the shackle angles you've calculated?
