Missing plug for PWR/2ND switch on LX450?? (1 Viewer)

Troubleshooting non working PWR and 2ND buttons today...open up the console and shift lever area to check buttons are plugged in. The plug is hanging loose off the buttons and I cannot for the life of me find a matching plug to attach the buttons to...wtf is going on here, where is that plug supposed to be? Truck is a 97 LX450. THX everyone.

Look under the boom box speaker the plug is there

Yup, 100% it’s there.

I’ll have to tear it apart and look again...it totally wasn’t visible when I looked yesterday even with the speaker picked up. Maybe it’s far far under the carpet. I did find these... but nothing else. Will keep you updated, and thank you for the encouragement.

Yup, 100% it’s there.

I found it. I presume it was a casualty of a rushed repair at some point in it's life. See it pinched in there? Had to trace each branch off the main harness bundle, et voila, there it is.

Thanks! Yeah, truck supposedly has 154k miles. but there is evidence that has made me question that (looking at you Lexus Service History)
