Fuel pump for late (laser/ufo) 22r question (1 Viewer)

My 4wd 1980 pickup has a 22r swapped onto it

Later motor with the ufo/laser

Bought a fuel pump, spectrum prem. Sp1003mp.

Supposed to fit an 84 pickup

Bolts up fine, but the in and to carb lines are 1/4" instead of 5/16"

Do i have the wrong pump?

Probably. I went to Rockauto and it looks like the pump for a 1980 has a 5/16" inlet , and a 1/4" outlet
(Spectra SP1095MP). The 1984 is 1/4" both ends.
